15/65: divided oil, first

this is the first image printed using what i call divided oil, or split ink... this one, printed on oriental seagull,
was first inked with black (spectrum T series) and then over inked with a mixture of grumbacher oils....
an early image, made about 1973, is in the collection of saskia hilton....
