ngc 7023 with LBN 487 the Iris nebula in Cephus

North is to the right in this image. Ahh, the proper designation is perphaps ngc 7023, the iris nebula, with LBN 487. I find both in the many
web pages. Whatever, one refers to the small open cluster in the clear area, and the other to the reflection nebulosity itself. The driving force
for the reflection is the central star, SAO19158, which may also be responsible for illuminating the dark dust streaming south (left).
