North is up in this image. and it will some day form the upper left corner or a mosaic (he says)... This part is often called the network nebula
because of its many fine lacy filaments. It is thought that the filaments are visual effects of looking directly edge on at the thin layers
of the "bubble" formed by a massive explosion. Whatever the reason, it is a beautiful oject. The composition is believed to be a combination
of hydrogen, oxygen, and sulfur. When ionized by an energetic star, the hydrogen and sulfur emit red light, and the oxygen a teal green.
