Supernova 2009dd in ngc
4088, an intermediate spiral in the M 109 group in Ursa Major.
The supernova is the bright star
only 2 arc seconds from the nucleus of the upper galaxy.
Twenty 3-minute subs acquired on April 17th, 2009 with the 12
inch Meade Classic at f6.8. Acquired, calibrated, and stacked
in
Nebulosity 2.1.0, final color and sharpening in Photoshop CS3.
