Galaxy, ngc 253 - 5 hours

A real favorite, but a bit
low in the south at my location, lots of sky glow and low level
mists... but, enough subs and a little luck
and it pops right out. This image was calibrated with darks and
flats and a warm pixel removal then
demosaiced and stacked using stndard deviation in Nebulosity,
before balancing color and levels.
Final curves and gradient removal in Photoshop.
Meade classic LX200 12 inch
at f6.8 with Hapmod Canon 350. Images acquired in Nebulosity
guided by PHD, DSI Pro on the ED80 at f7.5 --- sky very good,
about 2 arc seconds, considerable skyglow ...
