ngc 2264, the Christmas tree cluster and the the Cone nebula
with nebulosity around S-Monocerotis

North is to the right in this image, s-Monocerotis is the bright star in the middle of the blue reflection nebulosity. The cone nebula, NGC 2264,
is the dark nebula on the upper left edge of the red emission nebulosity. NGC 2264 is also the designation for the star cluster covering most of the image
and is known as the Christmas Tree Cluster .... with some imagination...
