HaRGB+O3


Ha only

This is a tough one! first pass at the whole stack, some artifacts, and a few more hours of good air to go! I am collecting some more O3
to add to the color, plus a lot more RGB, and will do a lot more experimenting with method... the O3 image is almost not there!
I am also working on a wide field of this region that includes ngc 6888, the Crescent or "van Gogh's Ear" nebula.
 Telescope Meade LX 200 Classic 12-inch at f/6.8 on Mitty Wedge in the Julian Observatory.
Camera Canon XT/350d modified with Baader type 1 filter by Hap Griffin, Astronomik 12nm H alpha clip for the Ha, and Astronomik 12nm O3 folter for that.
Exposure Sixty three 15 minute sub-exposures at iso 1600 for 945 total minutes (15.75 hours) in Ha plus 7 hours of O3 and 7 hours ofRGB.
 Guiding Meade OAG using PHD Guide from Stark labs with Meade DSI pro I.
 Software Images acquired, calibrated, stacked and cropped with Nebulosity 2.3 from Stark Labs. Further processing in Photoshop CS 3.
